Before you choose

A first float should feel clear, not mysterious.

We explain everything before your session and give you privacy throughout. Towels, earplugs and shower essentials are ready in your room.

01 · Arrive

Your own private room

Settle in without rushing. Shower, choose your light and music, and enter the pod when you are ready.

02 · Float

You stay in control

Keep the pod open or close it. Leave the light on or turn it off. There is no right way to begin.

03 · Practise

Three builds a baseline

The unfamiliar becomes familiar, giving your body and mind more opportunity to recognise deep rest.

Evidence, plainly explained

What research suggests.

Floatation-REST has been studied across stress, anxiety, physiology, pain and recovery. The findings are encouraging in several areas, but the evidence is still developing and should be read with care.

Acute experience

Stress and anxiety

Several controlled and observational studies report short-term reductions in self-reported stress or anxiety after floating.

Measured during floating

Physiological downshift

One crossover study measured changes in blood pressure and breathing during Floatation-REST compared with a relaxing film.

The honest conclusion

Promising, not proven

Study sizes and methods vary. Larger controlled trials are still needed before making clinical treatment claims.

Research summaries are educational, not medical advice. Evidence continues to develop.

Good to know

Questions before you book.

Clear answers, so your first visit feels straightforward.

Will the float pod feel claustrophobic?

Our Orbit pod is spacious, and you remain in control. You can keep the lid fully open, leave the internal light on and end the session whenever you choose.

What do I need to bring?

Bring yourself and anything you normally use after a shower. Your private room includes towels, earplugs and shower essentials.

Do I have the room to myself?

Yes. Every float takes place in a private room with its own shower and pod. After your introduction, the room is yours for the session.

Why do you recommend three floats?

The first session introduces the experience. Repeating it within 5–6 weeks lets the unfamiliar become familiar and gives you a more useful baseline for deciding whether regular floating suits you.
